After 7 years from my first visit, I came back here in this gorgeous country to see family... and to explore (more locally though)! The Brazilian family discovered a lot of new animals too, through my inquisitive (=annoying) exploring of land and air.

Garça-branca-pequena, litoral de Quintão, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil.

I was lucky enough to go to places more quiet and safe, where I could carry my camera, and explore the wildlife with it. From the ever present herons, to big black lizard, with plenty of colourful birds showing, and a few other animals like butterflies, frogs, and crabs.

Caranguejo, Praia dos defuntos, Governador Celso Ramos, Santa Catarina, Brasil.

I'm that annoying person that when you go somewhere with me, you'll find me looking all over the place at all time, and pointing to things (mostly creatures, or sky, or...) in the middle of conversations. With lots of research, of people's knowledge and online, I've also managed to find (hopefully) all the right names of these creatures, and have written them in the description. So now all you have to do is click on the photos in this post, and enjoy the photos in the "fauna brasileira" section.

Bem-te-vi, Quintão, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil.

Next photos will be the amazing landscapes I've found in this land.

Enjoy and stay safe out there in the wild!
